In a context as demanding as a tour, it is important for her to keep up. To achieve this, she sets up a routine to keep her body strong and healthy. “It’s just about switching into endurance mode,” the 28-year-old star explains.
Everything to keep your voice
In this sense, she reveals that she usually eats steak and vegetables before going on stage. On the other hand, no alcohol and… hot sauce! Because foods that are too spicy can damage the vocal cords.
As part of her rehearsals, Dua Lipa must prepare physically and mentally for all upcoming shows. “So it’s about running, dancing and singing, all at the same time, to make sure you can keep it up once the adrenaline wears off,” she says. “I think about travel and food, and I start putting it on my calendar to book places to eat. My whole day revolves around food and everything in between,” she said. She is confident about her evening performance and likes to find the best restaurant in town, the best museum and things to see for entertainment.
