Ottawa Bluesfest

Every summer, some 300,000 music fans gather to attend more than 200 shows on various stages. No wonder Billboard magazine has named this event one of the top ten open-air music festivals in the world!

Ottawa Bluesfest has long gone beyond the blues and is one of the largest international music events in the world. Audiences have cheered on artists ranging from Sting, Buddy Guy and Donna Summer to Skrillex, Kanye West, The White Stripes, the Dixie Chicks and Lady Gaga. The festival also features Canadian artists such as The Tragically Hip and Blue Rodeo, as well as many local bands.

Dance all day and night away at LeBreton Flats, a large outdoor venue located near the Canadian War Museum, just a stone’s throw from downtown Ottawa. In between shows, stock up on food and drinks from a variety of vendors and explore the fun activities on site. With hundreds of concerts spread out over nearly two weeks in July, this massive festival caters to all musical tastes!
