It’s not every day that you meet a princess in Montreal. Belgian Princess Isabella Orsini de Ligne was passing through the metropolis, because she is the new ambassador of the local skin care brand Nelly De Vuyst.
At the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Montreal we meet the Italian actress who became a Belgian princess in 2009 by marrying Prince Édouard de Ligne-La Trémoille. The Ritz lounge has a relaxed atmosphere. Model and actress, she studied law in Italy but never practiced. “The profession of lawyer was not for me,” confides the woman who is also the goddaughter of Silvio Berlusconi, former president of the Italian Council of Ministers, who died in 2023. “He was a friend of my father,” she explains. .
