Turkey’s national airline, Turkish Airlines, and the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), the United Nations agency and the leading international public organization in the field of tourism, sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). With this MoU, both parties want to work closely together to strengthen initiatives to promote sustainable tourism and civil aviation worldwide. Turkish Airlines will work together with UN Tourism to achieve common goals.
This partnership will focus on promoting sustainable tourism practices, developing aviation and promoting the expansion of collaboration between the public and private sectors to support progress in air connectivity, especially in emerging destinations. Both parties will use their expertise and advice in their respective fields, exchange knowledge and work on case studies on topics such as sustainable aviation fuel.
